The Artemis Centre is a world-class facility for sport, exercise and wellbeing that was officially opened on 1 September 2017, by The Honourable Linda Dessau AC, former Governor of Victoria. The Centre is an internationally recognised wellbeing facility named after the mythical goddess who represents strength and good health. It is envisioned as a gendered facility in which engagement and student agency characterise the experiences within transparent and free-flowing environments. Wellbeing is understood as a holistic experience, so that within the Artemis Centre there are physical, social and academic environments.
