A natural born storyteller, Cheyne has led high performing fundraising teams to make transformational projects possible including capital builds to improve patient care and experience in public health. Operating within complex organisations and influencing at all levels, Cheyne is experienced in developing processes, procedures, and strategic stewardship opportunities to engage stakeholders to promote and drive a strong culture of philanthropy. Prior to joining DGB, Cheyne led major philanthropic projects and campaigns at Austin Health and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre.

Cheyne holds the highest accredited certification for philanthropic fundraising professionals, Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), highlighting her commitment to best practice fundraising.
